The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas Glasgow can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Tom was one of the gentlest persons I have ever known. He had a way of making those of us with whom he worked feel good about ourselves and the jobs we were doing. Kindness seemed to radiate from him, and uplift everyone he met. I am a better person for having known him, and the world has lost one of its softest lights.

Condolence From: Diane Scholten
Condolence: Dearest Pat, Mark, Dayne, Mary Jo, Tom and extended family -

Tom was a MUCH beloved cousin to his Scholten kin (me, Jean, George and Pier). From that cheerful little boy with his crewcut whom i was finally able to best in the pogo-stick competition and who, like me, loved the NY Yankees to the adult man I came to know and love he had been my closest in age relative in our entire huge clan. A constant fun, warm, funny and dear presence in my life. i have felt very shocked and saddened by his passing and am praying for all of you who made his life so very rich and full. A wonderful man who will be much missed.

Love,
Cousin Diane Scholten (Tom's 6 week older first cousin)

Condolence: I am so sorry that words can not express my feelings. t
Tom was a great friend and a great colleague. We started in the Plattsburgh City School District the same year. We played softball and basketball together, and worked on school projects together. Many trips to see the Red Sox. I’ll miss him so much, as will all of us.

Condolence: My condolence to the Glasgow's family. I am shock and surprise to learned of his death. Mr. Tom Glasgow was my former intermediate basketball coach at Peru Central School in the 1970's. Over the years since then Coach Glasgow always stop to say hello when our path cross and take an interest in my current affair. He has left great impression on me and my coaching style. God bless you Coach Glasgow! :)

Condolence: My heart is broken for the family and for everyone that knew Tom. He was a joy to be around and one of the most gentle, kind, upbeat people I have known. HIs weekly trivia and points of interest presented with enthusiastic humor each Tuesday morning at Rotary is just one of the many things about him that will be missed. His passing on leaves a void in this world. We know you are in good company, Tom, but sure wish you could have stayed in ours for a while longer.
